The President tree is the name of a titan sequoia placed in the Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park in the United States, east of Visalia, California. It is not the tallest monster sequoia tree on the planet with a stature of around 247 feet (75 m), nor the most stretched out at around 27 ft (8.2 m) in distance across at the base, yet it is the third biggest tree on the planet, measured by volume of trunk, and the most seasoned known living sequoia with 3,200 years. Starting 2012, the volume of its trunk measured at around 45,000 cubic feet (1,300 m3), with an extra 9,000 cubic feet (250 m3) of limbs. That same year, it was resolved that the President was bigger than the General Grant, if measured by aggregate volume of wood over the ground. The tree was named after President Warren G. Harding in 1923. Close-by trees incorporate Chief Sequoyah, the 27th biggest monster sequoia on the planet, and the Congress Group, two thick stands of medium measured sequoias that speak to the "House" and "Senate".
