New Zealand waterfalls Is The Most Amazing Places You Need to See

 New Zealand, as per the gazeteer kept up via Land Information New Zealand has "249 named waterfalls and 31 named rapids". There are maybe seven named "Marriage Veil", and 17 which incorporate "Rere" signifying "to jump or plunge". In the North Island just 18 of 130 have non-Maori names (counting 5 bunched around Mount Taranaki), yet in the South Island just 15 of the 150 named waterfalls (or rapids) have held their Maori name.

There are differences on what constitutes a waterfall, e.g. the Browne Falls which is asserted to be "the tallest at around 800m, however this is deluding: the "fall" is in actuality a lofty stream" and "cateracts numerous would not call waterfalls (eg) the 800m Browne Falls (which is) minimal more than a precarious stream".  Read more

2. Bowen Falls at Milford Sound, New Zealand.
The Bowen River is a stream in northern Fiordland, New Zealand. The waterway runs south for 8 km, before spilling out of a hanging valley to turn into the 162 m Lady Bowen Falls, and emptying into the head of Milford Sound. The falls are named for Diamantina Bowen, wife of George Bowen, the fifth Governor of New Zealand. The falls give power to the Milford Sound settlement by encouraging a little hydroelectric plan, and are likewise the water hotspot for the settlement.

Bridal Veil Falls (Māori Waireinga) is a plunge waterfall placed along the Pakoka River in the Waikato zone of New Zealand. The waterfall is 55 meters high, and has after some time brought on the development of a substantial pool at the base of the waterfall.
